Household tip for the day: Spot Shot
Seriously.
4 years ago our kids had the worst stomach flu of all time.
And I was the idiot who gave them red icees. RED.
Red icees plus light butter-colored berber carpet do not mix.
Especially on the stairs.
Where it had a cascading effect.
(Are you thoroughly grossed out yet?)
And as much as I cleaned it, the stain got darker and grungier as the years went on.
We thought we would need to just replace the carpet.
Well, I thought I would make one more effort to make the stairs a tad bit less embarrassing.
Enter Spot Shot.
It's a miracle worker. If I could, I would marry this thing. I cannot believe how great it worked. I thought about doing a before and after (just in case it worked), but I was too horrified by how bad it looked. Really, it was that bad.
Warning: 3 out of 4 of us got massive headaches the day I used this cleaner. I'm sure it's full of really bad stuff that is eating away a few of our brain cells. But who can care when there's clean carpet to be admired?!

Love the grad pics. Love them.
Hate Spot Shot. I don't think it works well at all. I have devoted my cat-cleanup dollars to Zep brand and been very happy with them.
