today

Today started out normal as can be...feeling fat, got the kids off to school, picked up the mail, was about to start off with more soldering...

and then I opened a package in the mail from a friend and burst into tears.

It was like opening a hug.

The best hug in the whole world.

And everything changed.

The snow outside was dreamy instead of just cold.

I felt slightly thinner (yes!) and hopeful.

So I got back in my car and drove a few minutes to some locations in our neighborhood to take some pictures of the snow/frost that is complete goodness in this wonderful state of Colorado.

Note to self: wear gloves and a hat when it's 18 degrees outside. Oops.
