Oh Summer, you are going too fast

Every summer, I end up feeling like there's way too few hours in the day. WAY TOO FEW. If only I didn't need to sleep...then I'd be okay. hehe! I have tons of emails and orders to respond to...if you are one of those people, I promise you are not forgotten. :) But I am taking today off and going to Denver with the kiddos and my mom. Sometimes, you just need to take off and have an adventure.

Sneak peek!

Happy Wednesday! I spent most of my day yesterday (after an awesome shoot) backing up files on my computer and deleting things that I don't need. It seemed to take forever, and it's totally not done yet, but it feels good to get some head way. It gives me the same feeling of control that cleaning out a cupboard does. Love that. And yahoo!

Wedding bliss

That's what I was in over the weekend. Perfect weather. Perfect couple. Perfect family. Perfect laughs. Perfect joy. Perfect wedding.

Summer is half way over. (hmmm...that's a bit pessimistic...maybe summer is half full?...nope, that doesn't work). Anyway, it's flying by! BUT, I get to do awesome shoots like this one from yesterday. :) Thanks for hanging with me and being just the sweetest!

After staying up reading the last twilight book (because if I don't find out what happens to Bella I will just die!) I woke up about an hour later to tons of rain, wind, hail, and a tornado warning on tv. I don't take it too seriously until it scrolls on the bottom of the screen "Go to the lowest part of your house with no windows to find shelter..."

Yikes.

But everything is fine. And I'm drinking some awesome coffee. And I have an awesome shoot this morning. And I have like the best family ever. What more could any girl want?

Sneak peek Saturday!

Today is the very rare Saturday that I didn't have a shoot. This doesn't happen very often, so me and the fam went on a hike into the mountains to enjoy some mile-high lakes, took tons of pictures of Queen Anne's Lace, got a huge iced chai at Starbucks, and hit the farmer's market. Nothing better than summer fresh produce. What a perfect day!!!
And what a fun shoot yesterday! Thanks for hanging out with me! And a big thank you to Sarah for hanging out with me during the shoot and never once making me feel like a dork. Cuz I am. And I'm loud. And I never shut up while I shoot. I read that Annie Lebovitz (and I'm NOT comparing myself to her!) never talks while she's shooting...she likes to concentrate. Oh my gosh...I think that kind of silence would kill me. I would spontaneously combust. :)
