In my opinion, pie is a great breakfast: fruit/vegetable, dairy and grain. A tad low on the protein, but if you drink a glass of milk, you're good. (Certainly no worse than many cereals!)

Yum! Pumpkin pie or fruit pie makes an excellent breakfast. It tastes great (and sometimes makes kids think they are getting away with something).

I'm making some this weekend just because it's yummy and I've got pie pumpkins just waiting to be roasted.

Shash...I'm totally doing the same thing this weekend. I've never roasted pumpkins before, so wish me luck. :)
