I was thinking that it has been a really long time since we had a pic of Pepper! lol! She doesn't like to be balled up, but isn't she just the cutest thing ever?! (you have to say "the cutest thing ever" in a very high pitched voice.)

And our river day trip...wonderful. Not long enough. But I saw lots of thistles and butterflies, so it was totally worth it.

I am NOT a nature photographer. Seriously, one day I will master getting a good picture of a river.

Today we are exploring nature. I was very productive yesterday, so I am escaping from normal life and I will follow my kids along a river, sit on really big rocks, eat sourdough bread and brie under huge pine trees, and listen to the white water roar.
Sounds like a perfect day.

I know everyone has been dying for more Christmas card examples! lol! So, here's another one. :)

I'm PROOFING today! And then I'm going to do MORE proofing. And I am going to watch Project Runway WHILE proofing. :) It's going to be great.

Rules for photoshoots:

1.When you see an aqua blue building, you stop and take some pics!
2.Stairs are good.
3.So are fences.
4.Strapless is yummy.
5.Anthropology has the best clothes EVER.

Christmas! Well, I know school hasn't even started yet, but it IS that time of year to start thinking about your Christmas presents and cards. This is the time to book your fall appointments. I am already starting to book up, so if you're interested, call me. :) And just to get in the spirit of things, here is one of my new cards! Yummy.

Posting this really fast between movies...we just saw "Penelope" as a family...totally good! and now my hubby and I are going to watch "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly", which we rented last week and never got to it, so we rented it again, cuz that's just how we roll. :)

It's Friday already?!

On my way to meet my family after my morning shoot, I almost started crying. I was so amazed by God's goodness...how He has helped me grow my business...how He brings me just the right clients...how happy I am that I can do what I do, and for the most part, still be at home with the kids. I will be going into my 4th year in a month. I love what I do. And I am so thankful.
Oh ya, and here's today's sneak peek. :)

dreaming of Greece

Yesterday was great...a great shoot, lots of proofing, lots of time with my daughter playing with my hair, and then MAMA MIA!!!! Best movie ever. Loved it. Even with Pierce Brosnan's singing (sorry mom. yes, he's cute. I get it.)
We really need to break into song more often. With a bit of dance as well. And wear more sequins. and smile and laugh more. and live on a Greek island. with dreamy blue and aqua crackling paint on all wood doors.

It's Tuesday! Everyone clap!

Today has been just great...a great shoot this morning, lots of coffee, a yummy chicken salad, time with my mom, hugs from kids, talks with hubby, love from my dog...really, I think it might be a perfect day. And I'm totally on top of my sneak peeks!...here's a few from today. :)

Hello everyone! I had a rockin session with the sweetest ever girl this weekend. In between locations, we ate sugar snap peas right off the vine in her family's garden. It doesn't get any better than that!

Today started out with a wonderful session with clients who have been with me since the beginning...love seeing this family...how they have grown...the love...the joking...the DOGS!...so much goodness. :) Then, after I got back home and ate a brownie, I took a 2 hour nap. Oh my! Heavenly. :)
