the last day in July...

I just can't believe July is just about over, the kids go back to school in a few weeks, and time is passing too fast. Oh, feeling sentimental this morning. :)

This family is so beautiful!...I just can't get over how wonderful they were to work with! Thanks for hangin' with me! I can't wait to proof the rest of your session!

Night at the Aquarium...

My daughter's Brownie Troop (along with some parents, myself included) got to spend the night at the Aquarium last night...so cool! The aquarium is very different at night...the eels were restless.

Our group got to sleep right up against the Shark tank. This picture isn't the best, but it was REALLY dark...but it shows them in their sleeping bags, right next to all the big shark, fish, and a really cool sea turtle.

This morning we got to see the tigers...
"Tiger's?"...you might ask!...ya, I didn't get it either. They said that they like to show entire eco-systems. There was more to the explaination, but now I forgot it...the basic thing is that they want it to be more then just looking at fish...they want this museum to show a bigger picture. cool.

and here it came!...right up to me on the other side of a thick glass. Doesn't it look happy?!...they had just given it some whip cream...no joke! Who would've guessed I had something in common with tigers...a love for whip cream!

okay okay, it's been a bit of time since I last posted!

I have gotten a request for a new entry. :) So here it goes...my mind is a bit mush-like right now from doing some proofing and my right hand is now claw-shaped from being ever formed around my mouse.

Oh how I miss the old days of smelling all the wonderful chemicals in the dark room! :) No claw-hand to be found. (maybe a few brain cells fried, but I probably wasn't using them anyway.)

okay, my brain is mush...I can't think any kind of example, metaphor, etc.

PS...an update...my 1 gig of ram came today (which I installed myself, thank you very much! were there intructions you might ask?...nope! I just started unscrewing things from the bottom of my laptop, looking for a good place...did you hear that thump?...I'm pretty sure my husband just passed out.) The 1 gig is everything I dreamed it would be. I'm in RAM bliss.

I have officially turned into a computer geek

I am so excited I could just pee...(i'm not sure why excitement makes me want to pee...anyway...)...I just ordered 1 gig of RAM to install onto my laptop! Can't wait. Will check the front door endlessly next Tuesday. I'm dreaming of faster processing. Geek. To the 10th power.

I am also finishing up proofing this newborn shoot and HAD to share this one...is she so dreamy?! I think my uterus just skipped a beat.

oh my goodness...sometimes I just am SO thankful for my job. I get to be part of someone's world for a few hours...that's MY sneak peek! :) And I love the LOVE that I find each and every time. Today's photoshoot was no different...they laughed and played and made faces...real life...real feelings...and just plain beautiful!
